Those can be found below.<\/p><h3><strong>General information on inland navigation on the Danube<\/strong><\/h3><p>If you would like general information about logistics on the Danube, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.viadonau.org\/en\/economy\/danube-logistics\/\">viadonau<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.viadonau.org\/en\/newsroom\/publications\/manual-on-danube-navigation\/\">Manual on Danube Navigation<\/a>\u00a0are recommended sources.<\/p><p>The Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration has also compiled some information on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsa-schweinfurt.wsv.de\/umwelt\/uw_rel_daten_binnen\/index.html\">inland navigation and the environment<\/a>\u00a0as well as to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.donauausbau.wsv.de\/\">development of the Danube<\/a>.<\/p><p>There are many different types of inland waterway vessels on the Danube. An overview of size, performance, load capacity, etc. can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dst-org.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Overview-Vessel-Types-on-the-Danube.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p><h3><strong>Current Information<\/strong><\/h3><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Information on the Danube fairway:<\/strong><\/td><td>Current information about the Danube waterway can be obtained from the electronic waterway information service \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elwis.de\/\">ELWIS\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0of the Waterway and Shipping Administration (WSV). Besides the German Danube, information on all German waterways can be found here (only in German)<br \/>Further information can be found on the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.danubeportal.com\/index.php\">\u00a0Danube Portal<\/a>. This platform was developed in the course of the EU project NEWADA duo especially for inland navigation on the Danube.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Danube ports:<\/strong><\/td><td>The most important German Danube ports are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hafen-kelheim.de\/Start.aspx\">Kelheim<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.donauhafen.de\/\">Regensburg<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.straubing-sand.de\/\">Straubing-Sand<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hafen-deggendorf.de\/\">Deggendorf<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stadtwerke-passau.de\/hafen.html\">Passau<\/a>.
