DST and partners present CoboTank at the networking conference of the German Federal Transport Ministry
As part of the networking conference IHATEC/DigiTest of the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport, the research project CoboTank has been presented to a broad expert audience on 28 September 2022 in Berlin.
Numerous projects from the “Innovative Port Technologies” (IHATEC) and “Digital Test Fields in Ports” (DigiTest) funding programs of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) were presented at the BMDV’s IHATEC/DigiTest networking conference in Berlin on 28 September 2022.

Under the leadership of the Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems (DST), the CoboTank research project, which was launched in July 2022, was presented to a broad professional audience together with representatives of Port of Hamburg Marketing e. V. (HHM), Mercatronics GmbH and the Chair of Mechatronics at the University of Duisburg-Essen (imech). In the context of a project fair, Cyril Alias, Head of the Department of Logistics & Transport at the DST and project manager of the project, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tobias Bruckmann, Academic Senior Lecturer at the imech and technical coordinator of the project, explained the project to the interested expert audience.

In addition to the project fair including short presentations and live demonstrations, the event also included a lecture and workshop program. As visitors to the conference, more than 140 participants from business, science and administration learned in this way about the innovations of tomorrow’s port world. In addition, the delegations of the research projects represented were given the opportunity to get to know each other and to network.
